If you haven’t seen the movie- go now. Drop what you are doing and go see it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. Besides the fact that Zac Efron is a greek god, the movie is really legit. Here are some screencaps- that may influence you to go see the movie:

Its really good, very indie and eclectic. Reminiscent of “Pretty in Pink” sort of soundtrack. Tracks to definitely check out: Motion City Soundtrack- This is for Real, The Helio Sequence- Can’t Say no, and Vincent Vincent and the Villains- On My Own.

Zac Efron is a triple threat, ok I said it. He can sing, dance and act. It’s really quite amazing, and unnatural at the same time, I don’t think people are supposed to be 1. a triple threat, 2. be so down to earth and 3. be so damn attractive. I will say that I am disappointed that he turned down the Footlose opportunity- and gave it away to Chase Crawford of Gossip Girls (who will dance and sing along side Julianne Hough of DWTS). I don’t know if Chase can sing or dance. Well all in all I just don’t think it’s even necessary to do a remake of the movie in general- it is such a classic. You cant remake Kevin Bacon. Next thing you know Hollywood producers are going to be doing remakes of Dirty Dancing and the Breakfast Club.
